Above is shown a black and white marble effect ceramic dish, adorned with Masonic images inside and the words 'Lodge of Unity No 334 Possibly a shaving bowl.
Right: an unusual lidded dish in matching pattern, possibly a shaving soap holder to accompany the bowl.
It has a very wide base, which would hold it steady when the shaving brush was rubbed on the soap. It also has interesting Masonic images on the lid which are repeated on the inside
Listed below are a selection of images showing details of a Lodge of Unity 267 Summons for its Centenary Festival including some of the Lodge accounts dating back to 1909.
Some images are quite difficult to read, however, we feel that they are both interesting and important enough to exhibit here.
